Efficiency of extracorporeal renal lithotripsy technology: results for 1.5 years.

In November 2024, Izmirlyan Medical Center, under the auspices of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, invested one million US dollars in the Armenian healthcare sector and acquired technologies for the treatment of urolithiasis and other urological diseases, such as Storz Medical, Olympus, and Quanta Systems. The system is managed through a centralized StorM-Touch platform and has the ability to select focus sizes and remote control. This technology provides non-invasive treatment of urolithiasis for the population of Armenia living in the endemic zone of urolithiasis. Almost 1.5 years after the introduction of the technologies, the work done is evaluated by the Head of the Urology Department of Izmirlyan Medical Center, Professor Arthur Grabsky.
