Radiological Diagnostics Department
The Radiology Department of "IZMIRLIAN" MEDICAL CENTER, founded in 2015, is equipped with ultramodern medical equipment. The department has magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computer tomograph, digital X-ray and two sonographic devices.
The Radiology Department cooperates with all departments of the Medical Center. The capabilities provided by radiology help the doctor to have an accurate diagnosis, to receive detailed information about health problems, their location and prevalence, which allows for more accurate treatment planning.
The Radiology Department employs young, leading and experienced specialists who cooperate with the Armenian Association of Radiologists, participate in annual meetings, and are regularly trained outside of Armenia.
The magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of "IZMIRLIAN" MEDICAL CENTER has a power of 1.5 Tesla and great software capabilities.
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is considered a diagnostic method and plays an indispensable role in the diagnosis of many diseases, especially in the imaging of the central nervous system, musculoskeletal system, as well as for imaging parenchymal organs of the abdomen.
Computed tomography is a more informative radiological diagnostic method than conventional X-ray examination. It provides a layered image of internal organs using X-rays. The information obtained during computed tomography allows to distinguish anatomical and physiological changes in organs.
