General Proctology - 2nd Proctology Department
The department was founded in 1982, when Professor (later Academician) Nazarov came to Armenia from the Moscow Institute of Proctology and founded the proctology service. During these years, approximately 10-15 thousand operations have been performed.
Currently, General Proctology Department operates in "IZMIRLIAN" MEDICAL CENTER, where hemorrhoids, anal fissures, fistulas, rectal polyps, coccyx, perineal cysts, rectovaginal fistulas, postpartum deformities, paraproctitis and other diseases are diagnosed and treated. In case of tumor processes, the patient is transferred to the Coloproctology Department.
Technical Equipment
The department is technically equipped, there are the latest surgical equipment and devices.
Staff
The department employs highly qualified proctologist-surgeons, the teamwork of which ensures high efficiency.
