Historical Overview
The Urological Clinic of "IZMIRLIAN" MEDICAL CENTER was founded in 2005 and is still headed by the Chief Urologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, PhD, Professor of the Department of Urology and Andrology of Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi - Artur Grabsky.
The Urology Clinic of "IZMIRLIAN" MEDICAL CENTER is a scientific and educational base of Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi, where the Chair of YSMU operates. During its more than 20 years of scientific and practical activity, the Urology Clinic of "IZMIRLIAN" MEDICAL CENTER has made significant progress in providing high-quality urological medical care to the population. The scope of the provided medical care services has been expanded and the quality of the provided medical care has been improved, it meets modern European standards.
Examination of patients in the urology department, diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases includes the entire range of medical care in the urological profile: laboratory and instrumental examinations, non-invasive, minimally invasive, laparoscopic and open surgical interventions, radical and reconstructive surgeries of the genitourinary system.

The Department of Urology of YSMU operates in the Urology Clinic of "IZMIRLIAN" MEDICAL CENTER under the direct leadership of the Head of the Urology Clinic, PhD, Professor A.M. Grabsky. Young urologists receive continuing professional education in the Clinic, and enrich their knowledge based on clinical experience using the latest methods with high technologies.
The training is conducted in a classroom with appropriate technical equipment, students receive theoretical knowledge and, using modern technological means of communication, modern urological problems are presented in detail and modern solutions are proposed. If necessary, they are demonstrated to patients during practical medical care.
The main priority that the management of the center is guided by is the provision of the safest possible medical care by the staff of the urological clinic with clear instructions, high quality and minimal harm.
