The Vascular Surgery Department of "IZMIRLIAN" MEDICAL CENTER was established in 2015 and is equipped with modern equipment necessary for treatment and examination. The head of the department is a vascular surgeon, PhD Vardan Voskanyan.
Services
The angiologist deals with certain pathologies of all organ systems. The department implements diagnostics and treatment of diseases of the venous, arterial and lymphatic systems (conservative and surgical methods). The department serves both adults and children. After surgery for venous pathology, varicose veins, patients are discharged the next day with appropriate instructions and undergo a rehabilitation period at home under supervision. The department also performs radiofrequency ablation for varicose veins of the lower extremities.
Training and Participation in Conferences
The doctors of the department regularly undergo training abroad, participate in the annual conferences of the European Association of Vascular Surgeons.

The Department of Vascular Surgery of "IZMIRLIAN" MEDICAL CENTER is YSMU base, therefore the conducted scientific work is aimed not only on the accumulation of daily work experience, but also on its collection and analysis.
